Dear Diary,

Today again, I did the same thing I am good at. I tricked an innocent Raven who had found a morsel and was about to eat it. When I saw him eating it, I tricked him to get that morsel. I flattered him by convincing him that he had the best voice in the woods. I tried to make him sing for me. Though he looked at me in suspicion, I asked him that his melodious voice would make everyone happy.

The birds in the woods would praise him and declare him their king. He was trapped in my trick and opened his mouth to sing. But as we all know that the crows only croak and make the harsh sound. When he tried to sing, the morsel in his beak fell down. I jumped at it and caught it. I laughed at Raven and told him that he was such a foolish creature.
But soon I realized that I had done wrong to him as he showed faith in my flattering voice.

Though I got the morsel, I was not happy. I was feeling guilty that I made fun of him and cheated on him. Everyone tries hard to get the food and they have their right on that food. Cheating someone is not a good idea for the food. I think I should try not to do it again and will give something in return to Raven, so that he will not lose his faith in others.
